For the last two years I have been working on a design for a deep water culture hydroponics system by inventor Morris Bryan, who also invented the Tower Garden seen at www.towergarden.com. Well I am finally able to talk about it. It’s called Solar Salad. I will be testing out one of many prototypes that have been sent out around the country. Pictures will come.
1. My mind wandered to thinking about using a camera while driving, how dangerous it’d be. Then I thought “I’ll bet I could take a good picture if I had my camera out right now” just as someone in the downtown Holiday Inn parking lot turned their brights on the opposite facing giant wall of a laurel bush I was about to be passing (on my left, to try to explain positioning). Just where the lights were focused was the break in the wall of laurel bush, there’s an a old wooden gate to the stairs leading up to the apartment complex behind the bush. So as I passed, I had a full view of a huge dark wall of laurel leaves, lit up brightly in one spot with an old gate. I’ve never seen something so artful occur like that. Picture that
2. As I was parking my car, I thought about the house across the street. A really nice older woman just moved out of it and I guess someone moved in, because there is new furniture and lights on all the time at night, but that I’ve never seen anyone living in it. I cleaned up some stuff next to me thinking about that, and then sat up and looked at the house just as a person approached one of the windows and was silhouetted against the curtain.
